This role involves developing and operating AI-enabled cloud services and integrations to enhance mobile banking experiences. The engineer will work collaboratively within a cross-functional mobile team to integrate artificial intelligence into banking products and engineering workflows, focusing on secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate backend cloud services and APIs supporting AI-enabled mobile banking applications. Identify practical AI opportunities in mobile products and engineering practices. Develop patterns and architectures for secure AI solutions. Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development workflows. Manage solutions from prototyping through production deployment, ensuring quality, security, performance, reliability, observability, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
At least five years of experience in software development and production operations. Proficiency in data analysis and applied AI for generating business value. Strong backend engineering skills including object-oriented programming, API development, and scalable architectures. Experience with CI/CD, automated delivery, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of security and privacy best practices in regulated environments. Preferred experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, Kubernetes/OpenShift, GitHub Actions, and AI technology such as large language model integration and retrieval-augmented generation.
