Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers. Offer attentive, personalized service in the hotel’s lounges, restaurant, and other guest areas. Recommend drinks based on guests' preferences and contribute to the ongoing development of the drinks menu with seasonal suggestions. Manage bar setup, stock inventory, ordering, and waste minimization. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and adhere to responsible alcohol serving practices. Collaborate with other hotel departments and support special events and private functions as needed.
Qualifications
Previous bartending experience, ideally within upscale hospitality, boutique hotels, or quality cocktail bars. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and bar techniques. Passion for hospitality and creating welcoming guest experiences. Fluent in English; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is beneficial but not mandatory. Ability to stay calm and professional during busy periods. Reliable, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining an organized workspace. Team-oriented with a willingness to support colleagues. A valid Category B driving license and car access is a plus. Legal right to work in Norway is required.
