Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of flow assurance strategies for studies, tenders, technology development, and project execution across subsea portfolios. Provide expert guidance and technical leadership to resolve complex flow assurance challenges through all project phases. Develop and maintain industry standards, methodologies, and engineering tools related to flow assurance. Drive innovation initiatives and process optimizations, supporting risk evaluations and mitigation efforts. Mentor engineers and subject matter experts to foster knowledge sharing and technical excellence. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, R&D centers, manufacturing sites, and with external stakeholders, representing the organization in technical discussions. Oversee review and approval of critical engineering outputs, designs, and recommendations, and promote continuous improvement practices through lessons learned.
Qualifications
Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Flow Assurance, Multiphase Flow, Petroleum Engineering, or related disciplines. At least 10 years of relevant experience in flow assurance, subsea engineering, and technology development, with proven involvement in complex subsea projects through various phases including studies, FEED, tenders, EPC, and operations. Strong understanding of subsea production systems and hydrocarbon transport principles. Experience with technology qualification, R&D, and engineering methodologies development. Familiarity with digital technologies such as automation, data analytics, and advanced simulation supporting flow assurance activities. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
