Responsibilities

Manage the overall financial performance including budgeting, cost and working capital control across all operations. Lead and develop a finance team to act as strategic business partners. Drive cash flow management and identify opportunities to enhance the company's financial position. Conduct scenario planning and financial modeling to inform strategic and investment decisions. Serve as trusted financial advisor to management and plant directors. Oversee all financial reporting ensuring compliance with international and local standards. Coordinate tax strategy and work closely with external auditors and tax consultants. Manage energy contracts as a key operational cost factor. Lead internal control functions to safeguard assets and ensure operational integrity. Act as Secretary to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. At least five years in a senior finance role, preferably within process or heavy industry sectors. Proven success in cost reduction, cash improvement, and operational performance. Experience working in complex, multinational matrix organizations. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and challenge operational assumptions. Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills. Leadership qualities capable of influencing and aligning senior stakeholders. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Norwegian is advantageous but not mandatory.
