Responsibilities
Lead the company's financial performance agenda including budgeting, cost control, and working capital optimization across multiple plant operations. Manage and develop a finance team to operate as effective business partners within the organization. Direct cash flow management with a focus on cash generation, scenario planning, financial modelling, and investment decision support. Provide financial leadership in statutory, consolidation, and management reporting in compliance with international and local standards. Coordinate tax strategies, manage external audit relationships, oversee energy contract costs, safeguard assets via internal controls, and act as Secretary to the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. At least five years senior finance experience preferably in heavy or process industry, with demonstrated success in cost reduction and operational financial performance improvement. Experience working in complex, multicultural, matrix organizations reporting to group headquarters. Strong business acumen beyond financial metrics, excellent analytical, modelling, and communication skills. Proven leadership capability to influence and engage senior stakeholders. Fluency in English is required; Norwegian language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
