Job summary
This role is for a manager leading a team responsible for cloud infrastructure supporting a global SaaS platform. The position focuses on building scalable, reliable, and secure cloud systems using Kubernetes in multi-cloud environments, combining technical leadership with people management in a fully remote setup. Responsibilities
Lead and develop engineers managing production cloud infrastructure, drive design and evolution of Kubernetes-based multi-cloud environments, ensure high reliability, scalability, and security, collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable safe software delivery, enhance automation and developer tooling, integrate AI responsibly in infrastructure workflows, balance operational needs with platform innovation, coach and develop team members, and improve incident response and observability practices.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience leading teams in production infrastructure for SaaS products. Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and multi-cloud infrastructures. Proven track record in improving infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and automation. Strong leadership skills including coaching and performance management. Understanding of AI applications in infrastructure and experience with infrastructure-as-code, observability, incident management, and cloud cost optimization are advantages. Experience with global or multi-region SaaS infrastructure is a plus.
