Job summary
Seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to manage and enhance security for public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and private data centre infrastructure. This role involves vulnerability management, threat modelling, and secure design input to protect cloud-based products. Candidates should have hands-on experience with cloud security, infrastructure security, network security, and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and continuously improve security controls for public cloud and private data centre environments including network segmentation, firewall policies, system hardening, and patching. Own infrastructure vulnerability management end-to-end, from scoping and triage to remediation tracking and closure. Conduct threat modelling and provide secure design input for infrastructure changes, supporting product and platform security needs.
Qualifications
Proven experience in infrastructure and cloud security (Azure, AWS, or both), including deep network security knowledge such as firewall configuration, VLANs, segmentation, WAF, TLS/mTLS, VPN, workload security, and system hardening. Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), Kubernetes or other orchestration tools, and application security testing frameworks (OWASP). Experience with SOC and SIEM tools, cloud security posture management, and vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable or Snyk. Ability to convert security findings into prioritized and tracked remediation work. Additional skills in infrastructure as code, programming languages, or offensive security are advantageous but not mandatory. Work permit eligibility in the hiring country is required.
