Job summary
Seeking an experienced Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning activities for complex data centre projects. This senior, on-site role requires managing all phases of commissioning, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring successful project completion and client handover. Responsibilities
Manage the entire commissioning process from planning through client handover, including developing execution plans, leading meetings, coordinating contractors and vendors, overseeing site readiness and permits, conducting witness tests, managing commissioning documentation, and leading integrated systems testing and Level 4 and 5 commissioning. Maintain risk and progress tracking while acting as the main point of contact between clients and project teams.
Qualifications
Proven project management experience in data centres or similar mission-critical environments. Strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, control, and life-safety system commissioning. Hands-on experience with commissioning stages L2 to L5 and integrated system testing. Relevant qualifications include HNC/HND or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or Construction Management, along with recognized project management certification such as PRINCE2, APM, or PMP. Site safety certifications like CSCS, Safe Pass, ECS, or SMSTS are required.
