Seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert to support NATO operational exercises and training in Stavanger, Norway. Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate cyber incident scenarios for NATO joint exercises, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives. Assist in scripting cyber events, support workshop teams with cyber implications, and synchronize cyber injects across exercise phases. Provide expert advice on cyber warfare to exercise command cells, brief teams on cyber threat actors, and support dynamic scripting during exercise execution. Collaborate daily with command to adjust cyber operations content and contribute to battle damage assessments. Participate in various boards, working groups, and, if needed, crisis action teams to address exercise issues.
Qualifications
Minimum four years of recent military experience in operational cyber domains, with rank equivalent to OF3/OF4 (exceptions considered for highly qualified candidates). Proven knowledge of NATO cyberspace operational planning and experience in national or NATO exercises. Higher-level education or advanced military training in cybersecurity, computer science, or related fields. Valid national or NATO Secret security clearance and proficiency in business English are required.
