This role involves overseeing all physical security operations at a large data center in Norway. The manager ensures the security services meet established standards and maintains a safe environment for employees, contractors, visitors, and customers. Key tasks include managing security personnel, visitor access, reception operations, security system functionality, compliance audits, and incident responses.

Responsibilities
Lead daily physical security operations, ensuring consistent compliance with security policies and site procedures. Manage security service contracts and supervise security personnel performance. Oversee reception and visitor management, including identity verification and escorting where necessary. Maintain operational readiness of CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems. Conduct security inspections, address deficiencies, and coordinate remediation. Respond to security incidents, liaise with emergency services, investigate events, and prepare detailed reports. Support internal and customer security audits and uphold physical security standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in managing contracted security teams, preferably in data center or critical infrastructure environments. Strong knowledge of physical security systems and visitor/customer security protocols. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Familiarity with reception operations, security auditing, and compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 is advantageous. Experience working in highly secure environments supporting government or hyperscale customers is beneficial. Excellent communication, decision-making, and report-writing abilities are required.
