Responsibilities
Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Apple devices, printers, and peripheral equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and remedial repairs. Manage hardware and software inventory, document repairs, coordinate shipping and logistics for equipment. Monitor and restore service for terminal clients and authorized computers, escalating complex issues as needed. Support users by familiarizing them with IT operations and providing recovery assistance. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for new builds and upgrades, maintain IT records, and enforce desktop standards.
Qualifications
Proven expertise with PC hardware and desktop software, including Windows and Apple ecosystems. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and A+ desirable. Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP), routers, switches, firewalls, Active Directory, Exchange, and remote-control tools required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team. Physical ability to handle equipment and perform related tasks.
