Job summary
This role involves leading the early-stage development of large-scale data centre projects across Europe, focusing on site identification, acquisition, permitting, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. The position requires strong organizational and commercial skills to manage complex projects supporting AI infrastructure growth in a fast-paced environment. Located preferably in Norway, with travel across development sites in the Nordic region.

Responsibilities
Lead front-end development activities for multiple data centre projects, including conducting site feasibility studies and coordinating multidisciplinary due diligence efforts. Manage acquisition negotiations and maintain documentation such as risk registers. Drive development design processes, including permitting and utility engagement, and prepare project execution plans and cost schedules. Oversee planning and permitting applications across jurisdictions and foster stakeholder relationships with authorities and partners. Facilitate collaboration across internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and processes while monitoring market and regulatory trends.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in client-side front-end development of data centres, critical infrastructure, or complex real estate projects. Proven expertise in site acquisition, due diligence, permitting, and pre-construction coordination. Strong understanding of utility infrastructure and large-scale development procedures. A degree in Engineering, Planning, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, organizational ability, decisiveness, and adaptability in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
