Responsibilities
Develop and execute the strategy for the compliance operations function, ensuring regulatory requirements are translated into practical, scalable processes. Continuously monitor compliance risks and seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. Oversee daily compliance activities across multiple markets, directly resolving complex issues and implementing lasting solutions. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create technology-driven automation for compliance tasks, including leading business cases and implementation projects. Manage licensing audits and readiness programs, proactively addressing gaps with remediation plans. Prepare operations for entry into new markets and service expansions. Interpret regulatory changes into clear operational guidelines and ensure adherence. Lead a team of 5-10 compliance professionals, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Report on compliance metrics and maintain dashboards to inform senior leadership on risk and operational status.
Qualifications
8-10 years of experience in operations, product operations, or compliance within technology-focused or high-growth companies, preferably in health tech or related sectors. Proven ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop technology solutions supporting compliance. Strong leadership skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams. Excellent analytical capabilities handling complex, imperfect data sets and developing operational KPIs. Skilled in cross-functional stakeholder management and clear communication of complex regulatory information to diverse audiences. Preferred experience includes employment law compliance, healthcare or home care regulatory environments, and managing multi-state licensing and regulatory requirements.
