Responsibilities
Define and execute the strategic vision for compliance operations, ensuring effective management of employment law and healthcare licensing as the company expands. Continuously assess compliance risks and optimize operational processes to reduce friction and improve scalability. Oversee day-to-day compliance activities, including resolving complex issues and building robust systems. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create automated solutions that reduce manual effort. Lead state licensing audits and prepare the organization for market launches and new services. Translate regulatory changes into actionable protocols and develop compliance metrics and dashboards for leadership monitoring. Build and manage a high-performing team fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
8-10 years of experience in operations, product operations, or compliance within technology-driven or high-growth environments, preferably in health tech or related fields. Proven track record at the intersection of technology and operations, including successful partnerships with product and engineering teams. Experience developing scalable functional systems and leading teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex data sets and develop KPIs. Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities. Superior written and verbal communication skills to explain complex regulatory topics to diverse audiences. Preferred experience includes employment law compliance, healthcare regulation, and managing multi-state licensing.
