Job summary
Seeking a Director of Strategic Programs to lead and manage end-to-end new product introduction and key strategic projects within a hardware technology environment. This leadership role requires hands-on management of the program lifecycle, stakeholder coordination, risk mitigation, and executive-level reporting to ensure aligned delivery of complex initiatives across multiple teams and functions.

Responsibilities
Lead and govern the new product introduction process from concept to post-launch evaluation. Maintain the program gate calendar and act as the central record keeper for all programs. Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing to ensure strategy alignment and execution discipline. Drive strategic initiatives beyond product launches, including market entry and operational changes. Chair launch readiness and review meetings, manage intake and governance of strategic projects, provide portfolio status to executive leadership, identify and resolve risks proactively, and participate directly in project activities to drive outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years' experience in hardware new product introduction, program management, or launch operations with demonstrated leadership of a phase-gate or stage-gate process. Proven track record managing cross-functional projects outside traditional launches, such as system migrations or commercial model adaptations. Competence in managing external certification processes and strong commercial acumen encompassing margin, pricing, discounting, and channel management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience creating concise executive summaries. Ability to influence and align stakeholders across organizational levels, with a hands-on approach to driving project momentum. Experience scaling program management functions in mid-sized technology companies is preferred. Experience in video collaboration or audio-visual hardware sectors is a plus but not required.
