Job summary
Seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to oversee the electrical scope delivery of a major data centre project. The role involves managing the electrical design, procurement, construction, energization, commissioning, and handover phases while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets are met. The position requires leadership of multidisciplinary teams and close collaboration with various project stakeholders to ensure a successful and coordinated project completion.

Responsibilities
Lead the entire electrical package throughout the project lifecycle, managing engineering, supervision, and subcontractor teams. Coordinate electrical design development and review technical submissions. Oversee procurement and installation readiness for electrical systems. Drive construction planning and manage interfaces with different disciplines. Monitor subcontractor performance and mitigate risks related to materials, schedule, and installation. Ensure all electrical works comply with safety, quality, and client standards. Manage commercial aspects including budgeting, change control, and forecasting. Lead electrical completion activities such as testing, energisation, commissioning, and handover, ensuring all documentation and training materials are accurate and complete.
Qualifications
Electrical trade qualification or degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering or related field. At least 10 years of experience in electrical systems delivery on major construction projects, including at least 5 years in a lead or managerial electrical role. Strong technical knowledge of power distribution systems and critical electrical infrastructure. Experience managing subcontractors, commercial aspects, and multidisciplinary project interfaces. Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills. Fluent in English. Experience in data centre or mission-critical projects and familiarity with digital construction tools is desirable but not mandatory.
