Responsibilities
Provide expert knowledge of current EU missions and operations to realistically simulate EU roles during NATO exercises. Develop a Concept of Operations for EU involvement reflecting political interaction objectives. Coordinate with all relevant political representatives to maintain consistent EU representation. Deliver authentic EU documentation and engage dynamically with exercise participants via multiple communication channels. Serve as the primary contact point for all EU-related political matters within the exercise. Analyze participant plans and activities to assess impacts on EU political and operational scenarios, offering prompt feedback to exercise control to facilitate necessary adjustments. Ensure unified information sharing from European national response teams during exercises.
Qualifications
Military officer rank OF-6 or equivalent civilian senior level with a minimum of three years' recent senior experience within the European Council, European Military Committee, or European Union Military Staff. Demonstrated operational and field experience in NATO and/or EU military missions over the past decade. Higher education degree or comparable advanced civilian or military staff education. Proficiency in business-level English communication. Ability to obtain and hold valid National or NATO Secret security clearance.
