Responsibilities

Lead financial performance management including budget discipline, cost control across multiple sites, and optimization of working capital. Manage and develop a finance team to act as strategic partners within the organization. Oversee cash flow management with a focus on cash generation and strengthening financial position. Conduct financial scenario planning, sensitivity analyses, and modeling to support strategic and investment decisions. Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the executive committee and site directors, translating strategic objectives into robust financial frameworks. Supervise all statutory, consolidation, and management financial reporting in compliance with group standards and IFRS. Coordinate tax strategy and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors. Oversee energy contract management as a key cost driver. Lead internal control functions to safeguard assets and ensure integrity of processes. Serve as secretary to the board of directors.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Minimum five years in a senior finance role, preferably within process or heavy industry. Proven track record of measurable results in cost reduction, cash flow improvement, and operational performance. Experience working in complex, multicultural, matrixed organizations linked to a corporate headquarters. Strong business orientation with the ability to understand operations beyond financials and constructively challenge assumptions. Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills. Demonstrated leadership with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across functions. Proficiency in English is required; Norwegian language skills are considered an advantage.
