Job summary
Seeking a freelance Hebrew translator and copy editor proficient in U.S. English to translate and refine diverse content such as marketing materials, product info, UI text, customer support, and light legal documents. Responsibilities
Translate a variety of content types from U.S. English into Hebrew with accuracy, cultural relevance, and natural expression. Edit and refine translations for marketing, product, UI, and customer support materials while maintaining terminology and tone suited for targeted audiences. Manage a weekly workload of approximately 1,000–2,000+ words using CAT tools, adhering to project guidelines and deadlines. Collaborate with project teams to incorporate feedback and improve quality continuously. Participate in client-specific training and maintain clear communication throughout projects.
Qualifications
Native or near-native Hebrew proficiency combined with excellent written U.S. English skills. At least two years of professional translation experience with a relevant academic background or five years without formal translation education. Experience translating across multiple content types including informational, marketing, UI, and support materials. Proficiency with computer-assisted translation tools. Strong attention to detail, time management skills, reliability, and ability to work independently as a freelancer. Openness to feedback and dedication to maintaining high-quality translation standards.
