Responsibilities
Manage and deliver infrastructure projects including installations and upgrades, support operational activities across multiple data centres, and adapt to operational demands including out-of-hours specialist support. Monitor critical systems like power and cooling, maintain infrastructure reliability and scalability. Respond promptly to critical incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and handle escalated customer support issues under SLAs. Investigate and resolve major incidents, recommend long-term preventative measures, design and implement automation tools to optimize operations, collaborate on capacity planning, and drive continuous infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in data centre environments with strong expertise in server administration, virtualization, and networking protocols. Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Python required. Hands-on server experience within tech organizations, advanced technical certifications preferred. Demonstrated problem solving, analytical skills, sound judgment in ambiguous environments, ability to influence senior stakeholders without authority, and strong organizational and customer service skills.
