Job summary
This role supports NATO's Joint Warfare Centre in Stavanger, Norway, delivering operational and strategic intelligence expertise to enhance NATO training exercises. The expert provides imagery intelligence (IMINT) support and collaborates with multinational teams to develop realistic, scenario-based intelligence materials that meet training objectives. The position requires participation onsite during exercises with potential adhoc remote work, offering the opportunity to contribute to high-profile multinational defense training activities.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive strategic situational awareness and ensure exercise intelligence products support training objectives. Develop and update intelligence scenarios and materials in collaboration with team leads. Deliver tailored intelligence information to training audiences and participate in exercise control meetings. Monitor exercise activities, provide feedback, and adjust intelligence content as required. Coordinate IMINT reporting and integrate latest adversary doctrines into scenario development. Support planning stages with IMINT expertise and liaise closely with analysts and response cells to ensure accurate and realistic intelligence representation throughout exercises.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years recent experience in a National or NATO strategic or operational command role related to imagery or intelligence analysis and 3 years operational intelligence knowledge, demonstrated through military or equivalent civilian roles. Completion of NATO or equivalent courses in Intelligence, Imagery and IMINT, Targeting, and Intelligence Warning System proficiency. Familiarity with NATO sensor capabilities, targeting processes, and intelligence warning systems. Proven experience briefing senior leaders and participation in multinational strategic planning as an intelligence SME. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant intelligence systems (INTEL-FS, TOPFAS, BICES). Valid National or NATO Secret security clearance is required. Business-level English proficiency is essential.
