Seeking an experienced IT Operations and Cybersecurity Specialist for a remote position based in Norway. Responsibilities
Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses within cloud productivity platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Oversee endpoint management by onboarding Windows and macOS devices through mobile device management systems. Provide first-line technical support and escalate issues as needed. Perform regular system maintenance and monitoring, including patch management and security alerts. Document technical procedures and maintain operational runbooks. Dedicate time to security projects, including vulnerability assessments, device hardening, development of incident response playbooks, and ISO 27001 compliance support. Identify and implement improvements to IT workflows and security practices in a distributed client environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of two years' hands-on experience in IT operations, helpdesk support, or systems administration. Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environments, including user and group management and security policies. Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune or Jamf. Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate IT tasks. Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to document technical information clearly. Comfortable working remotely and independently across different time zones. Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, Endpoint Administrator, or Google Workspace Administrator. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2 is advantageous.
