Responsibilities

Develop and oversee opposition land force scenarios during NATO exercises, ensuring realistic force composition and maneuver plans. Participate in incident development and scripting workshops to integrate land domain effects into exercise storylines. Coordinate dynamically with multiple exercise control cells for synchronized execution. Provide expert guidance to exercise teams on land operations implications, and contribute to operational design and target list creation. Respond swiftly to exercise dynamics and support crisis resolution activities. Support preparation and reporting related to battle damage assessments and operational fragmentary orders.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of relevant military experience within the last 12 years, reaching rank OF3/OF4 with command experience at company or equivalent level. Staff officer experience at division level or above (J2/J3/J5) within NATO or national land forces, including international deployments. Proven background in operational land planning and military exercise management. Higher-level civilian or military education or staff college graduation. Valid NATO or national Secret security clearance. Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office applications.
