Responsibilities
Take technical ownership of the frontend architecture of a sophisticated engineering application combining analytical workflows, large datasets, and interactive 2D/3D visualizations. Define architectural standards, lead development teams, collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and domain experts to translate complex requirements into effective user experiences. Balance hands-on coding with strategic architectural decision-making, ensuring maintainability, reliability, and performance of the application.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in React and TypeScript with proven experience leading frontend architecture for complex, data-heavy applications, particularly in analytics, simulation, or scientific domains. Proficiency in state management tools such as Zustand, TanStack Query, or Redux. Demonstrated ability to optimize browser performance for large datasets through asynchronous loading, rendering optimizations, and memory management. Familiarity with frontend testing, debugging, and observability practices. Experience with visualization technologies like D3.js, Plotly, Three.js, WebGL, or Canvas is advantageous. Knowledge of scientific computing, CAD, GIS, or related engineering disciplines is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a structured and proactive approach to problem-solving, and a customer-focused mindset are essential. Comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving requirements and using AI-assisted development tools.
