Job summary
An opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer to take technical ownership of a high-impact, customer-facing product in the finance and data analytics sector. The role involves leading a small software team, influencing engineering standards, and delivering features that improve client experience and business outcomes. The position is remote within Europe and offers a monthly compensation between 6,500 and 7,500 USD.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a technical team to ensure high code and architectural quality. Coach and align team members on objectives, outcomes, and delivery timelines. Collaborate with product and technology teams to translate strategic roadmaps into actionable development tasks and provide visibility on progress. Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve Golang microservices and frontend applications using React/TypeScript. Enhance service performance and observability, and identify opportunities to improve team efficiency through automation and new technologies.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing and technically leading engineering teams. Strong proficiency in Golang for backend services and SQL databases. Skilled in building frontend applications with React and TypeScript using component-based design. Understanding of clean code principles and the ability to enforce quality standards through code reviews. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative product development. Additional beneficial skills include experience with concurrent programming (goroutines), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and exposure to AI technologies.
