Responsibilities
Develop mechanical designs supporting the entire product development lifecycle, including concept generation, prototype evaluation, detailed engineering, verification, and production support. Collaborate closely with electronics, embedded software, hardware test, and product teams as well as external suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure designs meet quality, manufacturability, and reliability standards. Drive improvements in product robustness and sustainability, maintain thorough documentation, and support continuous product quality enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and product development. Proficiency with 3D CAD tools and engineering documentation. Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing techniques, and design for manufacturing and assembly principles. Experience collaborating with external partners such as suppliers and contract manufacturers. Strong communication skills in English. Preferred candidates have experience taking products from concept through production, creative problem-solving abilities, and skill balancing technical, quality, cost, and schedule factors.
