Seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead Engineer to manage all mechanical aspects of construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The role involves overseeing mechanical system delivery cycles, ensuring technical quality, cost control, and timely completion, while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical systems on assigned construction projects. Coordinate mechanical work with other disciplines to ensure integrated system design and implementation. Supervise subcontractors and suppliers related to mechanical services. Monitor progress and adherence to schedules and milestones. Review mechanical designs and drawings for project compliance. Provide technical input during design development and value engineering. Lead testing, commissioning, and system handover activities. Troubleshoot and resolve site mechanical issues. Ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations. Conduct inspections and quality assurance activities. Prepare documentation such as QA/QC records, commissioning reports, and operation and maintenance manuals. Mentor and lead mechanical site engineers and supervisors. Participate in coordination meetings and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to project leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 7 to 10 years of experience managing mechanical systems in large construction projects. Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems. Proficiency in BIM and mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. Strong engineering knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills. Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages and sustainable mechanical solutions is beneficial.
