This role involves creating and performing as a media role-player for NATO-related military exercises in Stavanger, Norway. Responsibilities
Review and develop media content aligned with evolving military exercise scenarios; participate in scripting conferences to create TV, online, and social media content supporting exercise storylines; serve as a media subject matter expert advising exercise teams; perform live and recorded broadcast segments including interviews and news reports; monitor and manage media injects ensuring timely and accurate dissemination; collaborate with multiple exercise stakeholders to maintain content relevance and synchronization across platforms.
Qualifications
Minimum five years of professional on-camera broadcast journalism experience covering real or simulated military or humanitarian operations, adhering to recognized journalistic standards; four years experience in news production or editing; strong teamwork background in multimedia production; proficiency with Microsoft Word or scriptwriting software; must provide a portfolio showcasing TV reporting, interviews, and online news articles; post-secondary education; fluent business-level English; ability to obtain or already hold NATO Secret or equivalent security clearance.
