Seeking a skilled media professional to act as a TV and online media role-player supporting large-scale NATO training exercises in Stavanger, Norway. Responsibilities
Review exercise materials to develop tailored media content including TV reports, online news, and social media posts; advise exercise participants on media-related implications; script and perform as a broadcast journalist covering simulated military operations; manage media injects coordinating with different exercise teams; produce content that supports multiple media outlets and storylines; adapt content dynamically throughout exercise phases; maintain media accuracy and relevance by liaising with subject matter experts and exercise staff.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years recent on-camera broadcast journalism experience covering (real or simulated) military or humanitarian operations following professional journalistic standards; 4 years experience in news production including shooting and editing video content; proven ability to work collaboratively in news or multimedia production teams; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word or scriptwriting software; submit an online portfolio with at least 3 examples of on-camera TV reports (including interviews), 2 online news content pieces, and 2 written news articles; post-secondary education; fluent business English; possession of valid national or NATO Secret security clearance.
