Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate MEP design and construction for data centre projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client needs. Develop and control project schedules, budgets, and resources for efficient delivery. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical challenges. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. Analyze project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Oversee commissioning and testing of MEP systems to guarantee optimum operation and energy efficiency. Report progress and financial status to senior management. Maintain best practices for sustainable and energy-efficient design and construction.
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with substantial experience in MEP project management, preferably in data centre or similar technical environments. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, data centre infrastructure, energy efficiency approaches, and high-voltage substations. Proficiency with project management tools. Familiarity with construction-related building regulations. Excellent skills in budget management, risk assessment, problem-solving, leadership, and communication. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work on-site as needed. Highly motivated and capable of leading diverse teams and stakeholders.
