Job summary
Seeking an experienced Military Intelligence Analyst to support NATO exercises focused on special operations and non-linear warfare. The role involves providing strategic and operational intelligence expertise, developing exercise scenarios, and ensuring realistic intelligence simulation for training audiences. The position requires strong knowledge of NATO intelligence processes and experience briefing senior leaders in multinational environments. Work is primarily based in Stavanger, Norway, with some remote opportunities.

Responsibilities
The analyst will develop and tailor intelligence scenarios aligned with training objectives, provide real-time intel support during exercises, analyze strategic and operational environments, produce intelligence updates and assessments, and collaborate with exercise control teams to adapt scenarios as needed. They will offer subject matter expertise on SOF and non-linear operational intelligence, ensuring authenticity and relevance of exercise content. Responsibilities include briefing senior leaders, contributing to doctrine refinement, and supporting multinational training audiences to maximize exercise value.
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least 3 years of recent experience working at a national or NATO strategic or operational command level in intelligence analysis, specifically focused on special operations or counterterrorism/counterinsurgency. Completion of NATO or equivalent intelligence courses is required. Candidates should be proficient with NATO intelligence systems and processes, experienced in briefing senior leadership, and skilled in relevant software tools. A valid national or NATO Secret security clearance is mandatory. Business-level English proficiency is essential.
