Job summary
This role involves supporting NATO military exercises in Stavanger, Norway by providing expert military intelligence analysis for land operations. The analyst acts as a subject matter expert within the exercise control organization, developing scenario intelligence materials, offering feedback during exercises, and helping to ensure training objectives are met. The position requires substantial NATO or national military intelligence experience and familiarity with relevant NATO doctrines and intelligence systems. English language proficiency is required; Norwegian is not.

Responsibilities
Support multinational military exercises by generating and updating strategic and operational level intelligence scenarios related to land forces. Collaborate with exercise control teams to ensure realistic and challenging intelligence representation. Monitor and analyze training audience activities, provide timely feedback, and adjust intelligence inputs accordingly. Develop written materials such as agendas, notes, and intelligence updates. Participate in meetings and coordinate with various intelligence subject matter experts to maintain current adversary doctrine and tactics. Assist in the overall planning and conduct of exercises, contributing specialist knowledge to optimize training outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an intelligence analyst at national or NATO strategic or operational command levels. Completion of NATO or equivalent intelligence courses including Intelligence, Analyst, IRM & CM, and Intelligence Warning System training. Practical knowledge of NATO intelligence processes including targeting, sensor capabilities, and comprehensive environment understanding. Experience briefing senior military leaders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and functional intelligence systems (INTEL-FS, TOPFAS, BICES). Valid national or NATO Secret security clearance. Fluent business English communication skills required.
