Job summary
This role involves supporting large-scale NATO training exercises by producing high-quality multimedia content such as TV news reports. The specialist works closely with role-players and exercise control teams to deliver timely video, audio, and digital media that enhance simulated media storylines during military exercises held primarily on-site in Stavanger, Norway. Candidates should have a strong background in multimedia production within news or storytelling environments and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and related technologies. Business-level English is required; Norwegian language skills are not necessary.

Responsibilities
Prepare by reviewing exercise documentation and media plans. Capture, edit, and produce broadcast-standard digital video, audio, and still images using professional multimedia and lighting equipment. Coordinate daily with TV role-players to plan shooting locations, scripts, and graphics. Set up multimedia equipment safely for interviews and press events. Deliver final multimedia products via web, cloud, or network platforms to NATO audiences. Collaborate closely with lead multimedia technical staff to ensure compliance with media standards. Create strategic social media posts and simulate online activity as required during exercises.
Qualifications
Minimum five years of professional multimedia production experience within the last decade, including at least three years as part of a multimedia or news production team. Proven expertise in video, audio, lighting equipment, and software, with a portfolio demonstrating at least five examples of multimedia work detailing production techniques and equipment used. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Word. Post-secondary education in a multimedia-related field. Business-level proficiency in English is mandatory. Candidates must hold a valid national or NATO Secret security clearance.
