Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain core components of a next-generation serverless distributed system. Improve components enabling concurrent and consistent data indexing across multiple machines. Maintain cluster coordination ensuring high performance and system stability despite dynamic cluster membership. Address performance, concurrency, and stability issues through investigation and propose effective solutions. Support engineering teams with complex technical challenges and lead operational problem resolution end-to-end.
Qualifications
Extensive experience with distributed systems design, including consensus algorithms and cluster coordination. Strong proficiency in Java and its concurrency libraries, coupled with deep understanding of algorithms. Demonstrated ability to build and debug complex features running on multiple machines at scale. Proven track record managing projects and collaborating across teams. Experience applying AI tools for software development optimization is a plus. Autonomy in driving technical decisions and effective communication skills in distributed teams are required. Norwegian language skills are not required.
