Job summary
An experienced SAP Manufacturing (PP) consultant specializing in Variant Configuration (VC) is sought to lead solution design and implementation projects for SAP S/4HANA environments in Norway. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to develop complex configurable product models and ensure integration with manufacturing and sales processes, while adhering to both Public Cloud fit-to-standard and On-Premises custom-enhanced approaches.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP PP-VC solution design and delivery including workshops and architecture decisions. Mentor and coordinate teams across onshore and offshore locations. Act as the primary business interface on manufacturing and variant configuration topics. Ensure governance, quality, and timeline adherence. Design and implement scalable product modeling strategies covering characteristics, classes, dependencies, BOM, routing, and MRP. Drive integration with sales, materials management, production planning, and controlling modules. Support phases from testing through go-live and hypercare. Manage global multi-vendor delivery and operate within Agile/hybrid frameworks.
Qualifications
10 to 15+ years of SAP PP/manufacturing experience with at least 6 years focusing on Variant Configuration. Proven track record as a subject matter expert or lead in significant SAP programs. Deep expertise in VC/AVC and product modeling on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and/or On-Premises. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities. Experience facilitating workshops, making architectural decisions, and leading global, multi-vendor teams. Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
