Job summary
This role involves overseeing the lifecycle of subsea control system products from understanding customer requirements to final factory acceptance testing. The engineer will work closely with project and technical teams to ensure engineered solutions meet industry standards and client needs. A background in hydraulic and electrical engineering within subsea or related fields is key, along with strong collaboration and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities
Manage engineering activities throughout project deliveries including requirement analysis, specification development, design reviews, supplier fabrication and documentation follow-up, and overseeing factory acceptance tests. Ensure engineering solutions comply with client requirements, industry standards, and health, safety, and environmental regulations. Provide technical assistance at manufacturing and installation sites, approve design bases, and potentially supervise subcontractors. Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline. Extensive experience in hydraulic and electrical engineering environments. Basic understanding of subsea engineering principles and production/workover products and systems. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written. Legal authorization to work and reside in Norway without sponsorship.
