Job summary
An experienced IT professional is sought for the role of SAP & EDI Developer responsible for managing and optimizing SAP and EDI systems within the Nordic region. The role involves supporting digital transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless data exchange using industry-standard EDI protocols, and leading the upgrade from SAP R/3 to S/4HANA. The position requires proficiency in multiple programming languages, EDI tools, and integration technologies, with a focus on logistics-related SAP modules.

Responsibilities
Manage daily operations and customer onboarding for EDI transactions utilizing Seeburger and multiple EDI standards. Design and implement integration solutions connecting SAP with various systems including Point of Sale and logistics solutions. Lead SAP migration from R/3 to S/4HANA focusing on modules like Sales, Order Management, Inventory, and Purchasing. Maintain supporting IT infrastructure such as servers, networks, and office productivity tools. Collaborate with suppliers and global teams to align service transitions. Analyze business needs to develop technical specifications and mentor junior developers in best practices and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in EDI development with strong knowledge of EDI standards (EDIFACT, Peppol, NemHandel, etc.) and use of Seeburger tools. Skilled in programming languages including Java, C#, Python, Visual Basic, and SQL, along with ABAP proficiency for SAP application development. Experience with SAP R/3 and the S/4HANA transition mainly in logistical modules. Familiarity with server and network management and integration technologies like RESTful APIs. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Background in supply chain, logistics, or retail industries is advantageous.
