An opportunity to join a rapidly growing technology company as a Security Engineer responsible for comprehensive security operations including application security, governance and risk management, and AI security challenges. The role is fully remote within Europe and involves engagement in a fast-paced environment with a large user base.

Responsibilities
Take full ownership of security operations covering application security by reviewing code, fixing vulnerabilities, collaborating with developers, and managing penetration tests and audits. Maintain and prioritize governance, risk, and compliance activities including managing security risk registers and audit follow-ups. Monitor security alerts and threats, conduct awareness and phishing simulations, and provide occasional after-hours security coverage. Manage IT security and access controls including onboarding, offboarding, device security, and internal controls. Track and address risks related to generative AI platforms and vulnerabilities in third-party AI services.
Qualifications
2 to 3+ years of hands-on security engineering experience, preferably with scale-up environments. Strong background in application security including code reviews and vulnerability remediation. Experienced in conducting or coordinating security audits and penetration tests. Proficient with Git/GitHub and comfortable coding; practical skills in scripting or automation such as Python or Bash are ideal. Solid understanding of security governance, risk assessment, and prioritization. Ability to independently handle security issues and take ownership in a dynamic, fast-paced context. Excellent English communication skills. Based in Europe with availability aligned with Central European Time and comfortable with occasional evening or weekend monitoring duties. Comfortable working with adult/NSFW content as part of daily responsibilities.
