Job summary
This role is for a Senior AI Technology Architect based in Oslo, focusing on designing and leading AI and digital technology strategies and solutions. The position involves working on diverse projects nationally and internationally, blending software engineering, AI, cloud computing, and advanced architecture principles to develop scalable and innovative AI platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will contribute technical expertise while coordinating small teams, facilitating architecture decisions, and communicating complex technical topics to varied stakeholders in English.

Responsibilities
Lead architecture and technical solution development modules focusing on AI, cloud, data, and digital platforms. Design and guide implementation of AI solutions including generative AI, LLM-based applications, and agentic systems. Translate business needs into technical designs, evaluate trade-offs regarding performance, security, scalability, and costs. Conduct prototypes and technical feasibility assessments. Define engineering practices and platform capabilities needed for production deployment of AI solutions, including DevOps and MLOps processes. Embed security and responsible AI principles into solution design. Coordinate smaller technical teams and mentor engineers and junior architects.
Qualifications
Approximately four years of relevant experience in software development, AI/data engineering, cloud/platform engineering, solution architecture, or IT consulting with hands-on responsibility for technical workstreams or small teams. Degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, informatics, or related technology-intensive fields, or relevant industry experience. Practical experience with software development, reviewing code and technical designs, and familiarity with modern cloud architectures and software development practices. Experience with AI and machine learning, including design of LLM-based applications and related technologies such as MLOps. Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills, fluent in English. Comfortable working in interdisciplinary, global teams and willing to travel.
