Seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Developer and Technical Lead with extensive experience in backend development using Go. The role involves designing and building highly scalable, reliable backend systems integrated with modern cloud infrastructure and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of robust backend applications with focus on performance, availability, and maintainability. Develop Kubernetes Operators and microservices using Go and the Operator SDK. Manage the full lifecycle of backend solutions including design, deployment, scaling, and operational maintenance. Build high-availability architectures and implement disaster recovery plans. Oversee containerized environments, primarily Kubernetes, ensuring smooth deployment and operation. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to maintain system reliability and improve backend infrastructure. Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and foster engineering best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years in backend development with at least 5 years of practical experience using Go. Proven track record in a technical leadership role such as Tech Lead or Team Lead. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration including development of Kubernetes Operators. Solid understanding of backend architecture concepts involving RESTful services, microservices, scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery. Familiarity with cloud platforms, predominantly AWS, with additional knowledge of GCP or Azure beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to communicate effectively, and experience balancing coding with technical leadership responsibilities.
