Responsibilities
Develop and maintain core backend services that facilitate care-related operations including workforce management, family-care professional interaction, and digital growth initiatives. Collaborate closely with product, design, data, and operations teams to evolve systems from design through deployment and operation. Share knowledge and mentor team members while fostering an inclusive engineering culture. Ensure backend systems are scalable, reliable, and performant, leveraging cloud platforms and service-oriented architectures.
Qualifications
Proven experience in backend software engineering including designing and operating production systems. Strong skills in relational data modeling and working with large-scale databases. Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, and service-oriented architectures. Experience in API design and building distributed systems with performance in mind. Proficient in Python or have relevant backend development experience with motivation to learn Python. Excellent communication skills for working across technical and non-technical partners. A proactive approach to knowledge sharing and mentoring in a collaborative, diverse environment.
