Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality backend services using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot. Design and implement scalable event-driven architectures and RESTful APIs following OpenAPI standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and system improvements. Troubleshoot and optimize application performance. Participate in code reviews, write clean and maintainable code, and support unit testing and continuous integration processes. Manage version control with GIT and contribute to observability setups and technical documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum five years of backend development experience. Strong foundation in software engineering principles such as Clean Code, SOLID, and basic Domain-Driven Design. Hands-on experience with Java or Kotlin for RESTful API development. Familiarity with event-driven systems and Kafka is advantageous. Proficient with GIT and test-driven development. Knowledge or interest in observability practices and frameworks like Quarkus is desirable. Excellent English communication skills.
