Responsibilities
Design, operate, and continuously enhance production cloud infrastructure mainly on AWS. Evaluate existing environments to identify weaknesses and suggest improvements related to architecture, reliability, automation, and security. Contribute extensively to Kubernetes platform management and scalability. Build and maintain infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and automate configuration management with tools like Ansible. Improve infrastructure automation and reliability while reducing manual operations. Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to ensure infrastructure meets technical requirements. Conduct troubleshooting, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis. Develop scripts for automation and share knowledge to raise team engineering standards.
Qualifications
Senior experience in Cloud, Platform, DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering roles. Strong hands-on expertise in AWS architecture, Kubernetes production operations, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code. Proficiency with automation tools like Ansible and script languages such as Python, Bash, or Java. Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure principles including scalability, availability, security, and observability. Experience with CI/CD and managing distributed production systems. Excellent communication skills and confidence in participating in technical discussions with customers. Professional working level of English (C1+). No Norwegian language skills are required.
