Job summary
A key role within a NATO operational training environment based in Stavanger, Norway, supporting strategic and operational level exercises focused on improving alliance capabilities across cyberspace domains. The expert will be engaged in developing scenarios, advising senior leadership, and contributing to cycle exercises at the political-military level, ensuring training objectives are met and lessons learned integrated.

Responsibilities
Develop and manage cyberspace-related strategic and operational dilemmas within NATO exercise scenarios; coordinate with exercise control teams and other stakeholders to maintain coherence and realism; prepare and update documentation and materials reflecting current doctrine and tactics; provide subject matter expertise and guidance to training audiences and leadership; monitor exercise activities and offer real-time feedback to adapt scenarios; participate in meetings, briefings, and mentoring sessions; analyze and advise on cyberspace campaign execution and planning in multinational settings; contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement of exercise processes.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of recent experience in high-level cyberspace environments at national or multinational strategic command levels or equivalent cyber command positions; proven ability to compose and edit professional-level texts and briefs in English reflecting senior staff terminology; experience briefing senior national or multinational leaders; familiarity with Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of specific NATO exercise tools (TOPFAS and JEMM) advantageous but not mandatory; valid national or NATO Secret security clearance required; fluent business-level English is essential.
