Job summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and models that enable reliable and timely analytics to support business decision-making. Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data pipelines to support analytics and business decisions. Enhance data models, ingestion logic, and processing frameworks for performance and sustainability. Diagnose and resolve complex data quality and system issues. Contribute to architectural planning of the data platform. Reduce high-complexity technical debt to improve scalability. Ensure thorough documentation to facilitate team collaboration. Mentor and onboard newer engineers, improving overall team capabilities. Collaborate cross-functionally to align data sources and models with analytics needs.
Qualifications
Proven experience in data engineering roles, preferably within growing SaaS or technology companies. Strong skills in writing clean, maintainable code and building reliable data systems. Ability to handle ambiguous project scopes by defining and leading efforts. Effective collaboration skills to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience integrating AI tools into workflows for enhanced outcomes. English proficiency sufficient for business communication; Norwegian language skills are not required.
