Seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Developer with leadership skills for a role based in Bergen. Responsibilities
Lead and actively contribute to designing, implementing, documenting, testing, and maintaining embedded software for advanced flow measurement devices. Provide technical guidance and foster collaboration within the software team. Own key aspects of product design and software development. Engage with colleagues across electronics, physics, and engineering disciplines. Participate in architecture design, code reviews, continuous improvement, and ensure quality and security throughout the software development life cycle.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience developing embedded software using C++. Proficient in version control systems and technical documentation. Ability to lead technical activities and take ownership of software design and implementation. Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science, software engineering, or related fields. Professional proficiency in English. Preferred skills include knowledge of physics, electronics, or mathematics; experience with Agile methodologies; embedded Linux development; communication protocols; scripting languages like Python or MATLAB; unit and automated testing; secure coding practices; and prior leadership or mentoring experience.
