Seeking a senior engineering leader to oversee and drive high-level engineering operations spanning multiple projects in Continental Europe within the energy sector. Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering services across several locations and projects, ensuring safe, timely, and budget-compliant execution. Develop strategic alignment and drive cultural transformation to meet company vision through effective change management. Oversee standards, technical competency programs, and governance to uphold quality and compliance with regulatory and client requirements. Support business development through proposal leadership, cost estimation, and execution strategies. Manage engineering staffing, organizational structures, performance reviews, mentoring, and training. Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and positive relationships with external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and contractors. Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and security standards within all engineering activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline from an accredited university. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or progress toward it is advantageous. Demonstrated experience managing multiple design and engineering projects, preferably in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industries. Strong knowledge of cross-discipline engineering interfaces, project governance, execution, and fiscal management. Proven leadership skills with ability to build, motivate, and guide high-performing teams. Competence in budgeting, cost control, risk and quality management, procurement, and construction execution. Effective interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Ability to translate organizational vision into actionable team goals.
