Seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the design and deployment of advanced AI-driven software solutions within enterprise environments. Responsibilities
Lead technical delivery of agentic AI solutions from design through production in enterprise settings. Collaborate with deployment strategists to translate complex business challenges into effective AI systems. Develop architectures, agent logic, orchestration frameworks, and data pipelines using platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks. Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues including integrations and performance problems. Build performance dashboards and KPI reporting to monitor deployments. Rapidly prototype proof-of-concepts and develop reusable frameworks and playbooks. Mentor engineers through code reviews and collaborative work. Communicate technical details credibly to peers, architects, and executives. Provide input to product teams based on field experience and participate in travel to client sites (~25%).
Qualifications
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering or technical delivery of production-grade, scalable systems in AI, cloud, or SaaS contexts. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Expertise in one or more programming languages including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex. Proven experience integrating large language models (LLMs) into production, using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex, and applying responsible AI practices. Strong skills in data modeling and processing across platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent. Familiarity with relevant AI and software development platforms and APIs. Demonstrated ability to mentor engineering talent and produce reusable technical assets. Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel about 25% of the time. Norwegian language skills are not required.
