Responsibilities
Contribute to system architecture, hardware design, integration, and verification of complex medical imaging hardware platforms. Develop backend processing and computing solutions, manage board electronics design, FPGA integration, power management, and hardware/software system bring-up. Address technical problems and reliability issues, perform lifecycle and obsolescence management, and collaborate internally and with suppliers to ensure robust and scalable products. Engage in technical risk assessment, verification planning, and cross-functional reviews to support platform sustainability and product compliance.
Qualifications
Master's or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5-10 years of experience in development, integration, validation, or support of complex electronic hardware systems. Expertise in at least one hardware discipline with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Ability to work across subsystems and multidisciplinary teams with a passion for learning. Beneficial experience includes medical device development, regulated industries, FPGA platforms, embedded systems, reliability engineering, and adherence to relevant standards and documentation practices.
