Responsibilities
Lead the engineering efforts for installation and commissioning of offshore flexible equipment, umbilicals, spools, jumpers, and seabed structures. Develop and review detailed installation and commissioning procedures and master equipment lists. Manage technical follow-up with subcontractors, prepare specifications for mobilization and demobilization of equipment and vessels, and define quality control criteria. Support procurement and tender activities and work independently during mobilization and offshore installation campaigns. Mentor new engineers and, when needed, serve as Project Lead Engineer. Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to relevant codes, standards, and software tools, contributing to process improvement and quality assurance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in installation engineering or a related field. Proven experience in leading installation and commissioning engineering activities in offshore projects, including subcontractor coordination and project execution. Ability to mentor junior engineers and work independently during offshore operations. Familiarity with engineering standards, quality assurance practices, and project management processes is expected. Legal authorization to work and reside in Norway without sponsorship is required.
