Job summary
Seeking a Senior Network Engineer to deploy and manage high-performance network infrastructures supporting large GPU clusters across Europe. This hands-on role involves configuring Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics, front-end and WAN networks, performing acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position requires extensive network engineering experience in large-scale data center or cloud environments, with willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities
Configure and validate high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand networks for GPU clusters. Manage front-end, storage, management, and WAN connectivity for new or expanding sites. Conduct network acceptance testing and performance validation prior to customer delivery. Troubleshoot live build issues involving routing, switching, optics, and cabling. Collaborate with network architecture to refine designs and standards. Develop and enhance automation for network provisioning and validation. Coordinate with program management, operations, and vendors to maintain project schedules. Produce clear documentation and runbooks to standardize processes across locations.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of network engineering experience within large-scale data centers, cloud providers, or HPC environments. Proven expertise in routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, and ECMP, with strong L2/L3 data center architecture knowledge. Experience deploying cluster networks, preferably with InfiniBand or RoCE technologies. Skilled in network automation tools such as Python and Ansible. Calm and methodical troubleshooting skills under live deployment pressure. Willingness and ability to travel across Europe. Advantageous but not required: experience with GPU cluster networks, HPC topologies, high-speed optics (400G/800G), open networking platforms (e.g., SONiC, Cumulus), WAN/peering/DWDM knowledge, and relevant industry certifications like CCNP/CCIE or JNCIP/JNCIE.
