Seeking a senior developer skilled in PHP and Laravel with additional experience in infrastructure and DevOps. The role involves building and supporting critical business applications and managing production systems to ensure reliability and performance. Predominantly focused on software development with significant involvement in infrastructure administration and operational support. Remote work opportunity based in Norway.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain data-driven business applications using PHP, Laravel, and related technologies. Modernize legacy systems and enhance performance and maintainability. Architect and manage secure APIs and integrations. Uphold high code quality with automated testing and static analysis tools. Support and improve CI/CD pipelines. Lead incident response for application and infrastructure issues, perform root-cause analyses, and implement preventive measures. Administer and maintain high-availability infrastructure including virtualization, storage solutions, containerized services, and monitoring systems. Document system architecture and operational procedures clearly. Collaborate and provide technical guidance to other developers.
Qualifications
At least 8 years of professional experience in software development with hands-on expertise in PHP and Laravel frameworks. Strong understanding of application architecture, API design, and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL. Experience with automated testing frameworks and code quality tools. Proficiency with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins and Git. Practical experience in Linux system administration, virtualization (Proxmox), storage technologies (Ceph, ZFS), container orchestration, and monitoring tools (Icinga, Grafana, Loki). Ability to manage high-availability production environments and conduct incident management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience preferred. Experience with supply chain or procurement systems is a plus but not required.
